Comcast DNS overwriting

I found this page, which includes the following promising text:

"We also understand that sometimes customers want to surf their own way, without the assistance of services like Domain Helper, so we offer an easy way to opt-out right on the Domain Helper search page. This is a feature we feel is a best practice and is a key part of a white paper we submitted to the Internet Engineering Task Force, an open international community of experts concerned with the evolution, architecture and operation of the Internet, for comment and review."

"if you want to opt-out visit https://dns-opt-out.comcast.net (note that link will only work if you're on Comcast's network)."

There are some problems.  The first is that the opt-out page has a certificate that expired 2 years ago, not a good sign.  The second problem is that the page is empty.

Maybe the URL and the terminology "Domain Helper Opt-Out" will have some value with the customer support people.

Comcast CSR's name is .... wait for it ... Opie!

No kidding.  I just called in to get a wiring issue fixed.  The CSR who took the call was named Opie.  What are the odds of that?
